CH 10 Exercise 1

Write a bad argument in favor of affirmative action whose only premises appeal to pity.
Last week, I told my friend that he should spend time with his little brother because he looked sad when we left for the Basket Ball game.

However, he told me that he spent time with him already earlier that day. Also, he stated that his brother is already 14 years old and does not need to be treated like a kid.
I tried to convince him that he might be worried about something or that he might miss him.

In this scenario, I saying that he should see his brother because he looks sad. But my friend used logic reasoning to explain why he does need to.
